The ClearNav’s high resolution GPS and software allow it to accurately calculate wind from thermal displacement. True airspeed calculations are based on GPS groundspeed and the calculated winds. These calculations are used for TE Final Glide.

If connected to a 302, the ClearNav will read its winds and true airspeed and use these for TE Final Glide. Compatibility with the Borgelt, LX, CAI LNAV and SNAV may be possible in the future.
